Peach Berry Smoothie

Peach Berry Smoothie

I try to drink a fresh smoothie every day. This Peach Berry Smoothie is my favorite go to smoothie recipe. I LOVE fresh peaches. My grandmother’s peach tree produces a ton over the summer. I take buckets of these peaches home to peel and slice for future smoothies.

peach-smoothie4peach-smoothie3The ingredients are all easy to come by, most of them you should have in your house. The Greek yogurt can be substituted fora number of vegan yogurt options or 1/2 of a banana. Chia and Flaxseeds aren’t necessary, but do add healthy Omega-3s and a small amount of protein. To add extra protein to your smoothie, add 1/2 of a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder.

I make all of my smoothies in my Ninja blender. I use the single serving container. *Pro-tip for a quick wash of your smoothie maker, rinse the container and fill with soap and water. If you have hard water add a bit of vinegar to your soap mixture to prevent build up. Spin for a few seconds on the blender, rinse and it’s clean!
