I try to drink a fresh smoothie every day. This Peach Berry Smoothie is my favorite go to smoothie recipe. I LOVE fresh peaches. My grandmother’s peach tree produces a ton over the summer. I take buckets of these peaches home to peel and slice for future smoothies.
The ingredients are all easy to come by, most of them you should have in your house. The Greek yogurt can be substituted fora number of vegan yogurt options or 1/2 of a banana. Chia and Flaxseeds aren’t necessary, but do add healthy Omega-3s and a small amount of protein. To add extra protein to your smoothie, add 1/2 of a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder.
I make all of my smoothies in my Ninja blender. I use the single serving container. *Pro-tip for a quick wash of your smoothie maker, rinse the container and fill with soap and water. If you have hard water add a bit of vinegar to your soap mixture to prevent build up. Spin for a few seconds on the blender, rinse and it’s clean!
